Motel 6 Amarillo, TX - West

The rooms look like they were recently remodeled and clean. For $60, it was a good place to lay my for the 5 hours I was there.

Debbie at the front desk was amazing! This has been the ONLY motel so far in our travels back and forth cross country that has actually given us a senior discount. She also explained that the rooms are small and we had 2 double beds so it was tight BUT... I really love the remodel that was done especially around the sink area... Very very nice! and we also appreciate that there's tall toilets. Will definitely be staying here if we pass through again. Highly recommend! Also liked that the parking lot was well lit at night and it was quiet.

Kari was the best front desk woman in HOSPITALITY EVER. My kids weren't going to take a bath tonight she offered a little bit of bubble bath with a few soaps she gave us extra towels she was the most kind woman we have ever met can us being from Paducah we are so thankful to her and God we appreciate her and we hope that other motel 6s can learn from this motel 6 it is under great management ownership and hospitality personnel! Thank you motel 6 from the bottom of our hearts the poteet family!!!!! Special thanks to Carrie my kids are clean and warm and we have a stellar room!

We appreciate that there is no extra fee for pets! (We are responsible pet owners: our dog is house trained and we bring him with us when we leave the room) The room was clean, beds are firm, wifi works, the heater, micro, and fridge all work. The area is quiet. The location is close to great restaurants. My only suggestion for improvement: we were in an ADA room and the bathroom didn't have any rails installed on the wall. I'd highly recommend that this be done.

Rooms are very clean, stuff are very welcoming Kerri was very helpful with me and every other customer. She really loves her job and deserves a raise.

Very quiet the night we stayed. Depending on the wind, the dumpsters from the surrounding restaurants are very fragrant.

2 star hotel with a 5 star rating! For a budget hotel this is one of the cleanest and we'll maintained hotels we've stayed in the last few weeks. Very pleasant staff. Debbie was great. Comfortable softer beds , clean linens and tidy room. We enjoyed the coffee in the lobby. Our faith has been restored for Motel 6!

Staff was respectful and helpful. Unfortunately, although the room smelled strongly of bleach, I notified the staff that the room was overrun with German brown roaches. She told me the rooms are sprayed monthly but it must have been spraying time.
